Terms & commercial use
Updated 8 October 2026. How you may use WallMock mockups, how they are made, and how plans work. Nothing here limits your applicable consumer rights.
Commercial use of your mockups
Use your authorised clean WallMock downloads to promote your artwork: product listings, online shops, websites, social posts, advertisements and client presentations.
WallMock grants you a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to the rights it controls in the room-background and rendered-frame elements of those completed mockups, together with artwork you own or are authorised to use. You may resize, crop and add your branding to the completed image. This permission applies to clean downloads you are entitled to make on Free, Lite, Pro and Studio; it is not restricted to paid plans and has no additional per-use licence fee.
The licence for eligible images you have already downloaded continues after you cancel a plan or close your account. Keep your downloaded files: WallMock does not promise to retain them for you.
- Your artwork: you keep your rights. You must have permission to use any artwork, logos or other content you supply. WallMock does not transfer ownership of a room scene or grant exclusive rights to it, and this licence does not clear third-party rights in your supplied content.
- Previews: watermarked previews and guest-demo downloads are for evaluation. Keep their watermark; use an authorised clean download for a commercial listing or advertisement.
- Assets: do not extract, redistribute or sell WallMock room scenes, frame assets or completed mockups as stock scenes, reusable mockup templates, PSDs or competing mockup assets.
- Accurate listings: identify an illustrative mockup where needed. Do not present an AI-generated room as a photograph of an installed or manufactured product. Check the artwork, frame, mat and dimensions against what you actually sell, and follow your marketplace's requirements.
Frame finishes and room scenes are illustrative. No frame manufacturer, marketplace or room owner endorsement is implied. Questions about usage or a rights concern? Contact WallMock.
AI room backgrounds. Your supplied artwork.
WallMock's published room backgrounds are AI-generated scenes selected for mockups. They are not photographs of real properties or proof that a product has been made or installed. Frames, canvas edges, mats and shadows are rendered to present your artwork in the chosen room.
Your supplied artwork is composited into the scene, without generative repainting. Resizing, placement, perspective, output encoding and your chosen surface or lighting settings affect its presentation. Room Zoom changes the framing of the composition; it does not create a new painting.
For WallMock's published rooms, your artwork is processed on your device, is not uploaded to WallMock or sent to an AI image-generation service, and is not used by WallMock to train AI. The separate handling of any earlier own-wall photos is explained in Privacy.
AI scenes do not supply verified physical measurements. Treat scale as illustrative or estimated unless a room explicitly identifies a measured reference. Screen colours and simulated materials are not a proof of a supplier's exact finish, mat colour or print dimensions.
We do not claim that every mockup is indistinguishable from a photograph or more realistic than another app. Judge the preview for your product before downloading and publishing it.
Plans and credits
- The plans, their prices in your selected currency and their monthly credits are on the Plans page. Before you pay, it shows the total you will be charged and how often.
- A monthly plan renews every month at its price. An annual plan is paid upfront for a year and renews yearly.
- Every plan releases its credits each month, annual plans included. Credits you don't use end with their month; they don't roll over.
- One credit is one successful clean 4096 px image. Watermarked previews, including the live preview while you set up a room, are free. Failed, cancelled and unconfirmed images are never charged, and downloading an image you already paid for again is free.
- There are no pre-selected extras and no charges other than the plan you choose.
Changing your plan
- An upgrade to more credits on the same billing period (monthly to monthly, or annual to annual) starts when its payment is confirmed. You pay the difference for the rest of your current billing period, as calculated by our payment provider, and you get the extra credits for the rest of the current month. The Plans page shows both before you confirm. If the payment doesn't go through, nothing changes.
- A move to fewer credits, or between monthly and annual billing, takes effect at your next renewal. The Plans page shows the date and the price from then, and you can cancel the switch until that date. Your current plan and its credits continue until then.
- A plan change is never refunded in cash and never adds credits for time that has passed.
Cancelling
- You can cancel at any time yourself, without contacting us: Billing & plans, then Manage subscription.
- Your plan and its remaining credits continue until the end of the period you have paid for. Cancelling does not refund the current period, including an annual payment.
- You can close your account in Profile & settings, then Close account. See Privacy for what closing removes.
Refunds
- 14 days on your first subscription. If your first WallMock subscription, monthly or annual, isn't right for you, email hello@wallmock.com from the address you sign in with, within 14 days of that first payment, and we'll refund it. The plan then ends: its unused credits and clean downloads stop, and eligible clean images you have already downloaded remain covered by the commercial-use licence above. This is our own guarantee, offered once per customer.
- Renewals are normally not refundable once the renewed period has been used. If a renewal happened by accident and none of its credits have been used, write to us within 7 days of it and we'll review the request fairly.
- Duplicate or mistaken charges, and service failures, are always reviewed separately. Write to us with the date and amount.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method through our payment provider, Stripe.
